Cordelia Starling (コーディリア・スターリング Kōdiria Sutāringu) is Juliet and Rosalind Starling's older sister.
Cordelia is first encountered by Juliet at the Stadium, where she is seen climbing onto Vikke's flying viking ship. Throughout the level, and even the game, Cordelia acts as a rather blunt mentor to Juliet, directing her on how to better her profficiency as a zombie hunter. For a large portion of Juliet's trek towards the cathedral, Cordelia assists her, covering her with sniper rifle fire and clearing obstacles that would block her way.
She is voiced by Linda Cardellini in the English version and Mayumi Asano in the Japanese version.

- Cordelia means "Heartfelt" in Latin.
- In Shakespeare's tragedy King Lear, Cordelia was the name of King Lear's youngest daughter. Cordelia was bluntly honest and loyal while her older sisters Goneril and Regan were deceitful flatterers.
- Cordelia shares her name with Cordelia Chase, a character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer who was Buffy Summers' rival at Sunnydale High School. Like Cordelia in King Lear, Cordelia Chase was always honest, even if she really wanted to lie. Several episodes have Cordelia trying to flatter Buffy only to recant it immediately.
