Rescuing Classmates is an optional objective in Lollipop Chainsaw. Juliet Starling encounters several students being either threatened or attacked by zombies during her quest to defeat Swan. If Juliet succeeds she will receive a large quantity of zombie gold medals from the saved victim. If she fails the student will turn red and become an even stronger zombie in comparison to the horde.
At the end of the game if there are more living SOS Students then dead, the player will receive the good ending, where Elizabeth Starling, Juliet's mother unveil her birthday cake that she's been working on for the whole game, and the family and Nick Carlyle will formally celebrate Juliet's birthday.
If there are more dead SOS Students then living, the player will receive the bad ending, where Elizabeth will be shown to have become a zombie and will attack her family and Nick, with the screen cutting to black as Juliet screams.
Physical Descriptions[]
There are ten student models used in the game, with three of them being recolors of the first male student model.
Male Models[]
- The first male student has fair skin and medium length light brown hair. He wears a purple jacket with a large light grey stripe across the top half, a grey undershirt, a gold chain necklace, dark blue jeans, and black sneakers with bright green accents and white laces. This model is the most used male model, being used fifteen times with seven of them being SOS Students.
- The first recolor has light skin and medium length blonde hair. He wears a red jacket with a large dirty white stripe across the top half, a white undershirt, a silver chain necklace, faded blue jeans, and light aqua green sneakers with light grey accents and white laces. This model is one of the rarer male models, only being used twice, both of which are SOS Students.
- The second recolor has dark skin and medium length black hair. He wears a teal jacket with a large white stripe across the top half, a red undershirt, a gold chain necklace, brown jeans, and blue sneakers with gold accents and white laces. This model is one of the rarer male models, only being used twice, both of which are SOS Students.
- The third recolor has fair skin and short brown hair. He wears a blue jacket with a large purple stripe across the top half, a teal undershirt, a silver chain necklace, black jeans, and white shoes with dark blue accents and white laces. This model is one of the rarer male models, only being used thrice, all of which are SOS Students.
- The second model has fair skin and short black hair. He wears a black t-shirt, red jeans, and white sneakers with blue accents. This model is one of the more used models, being used seven times with two of those being SOS Students.
- The third model has dark skin and poofy black hair. He wears a blue tank top, dark grey jeans, and white sneakers with blue accents and white laces. This model is, while technically more used, also extremely rare; it's used four times, but none of them are SOS Students.
- The fourth model has fair skin and messy medium length blonde hair. He wears a blue jacket with gold trim, grey jeans, white socks, and green shoes with white laces. This is the rarest male model, only being used once.
Female Models[]
- The first model has fair skin and medium length brown hair. She wears a blue sweater with three white stripes on the biceps, a large pink heart on the right breast, and two large hearts on the chest picked out in fake rhinestones, with a line of the same rhinestone hearts circling around the waist, a white undershirt, a mustard yellow and black checkered skirt, loose white long socks, and blue sneakers with bright green laces. She seems to have an injury on her right hand, though how she got it is unknown. This is the most used female model, being used six times, with one of them being an SOS Student.
- The second model has pale skin and semi-long black hair. She wears a white t-shirt, grey short shorts, and red sneakers. She has black lipstick and black eyeshadow on, suggesting she's a goth or emo chick. This is one of the more used female modes, being used four times, with three of them being SOS Students.
- The third model has fair skin and medium length red hair. She wears a hot pink t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown platform shoes. This is one of the more used female models, being used four times, with one of them being an SOS Student.
- The fourth model has tan skin and medium length brown hair. She wears a pale yellow sweater, a white undershirt, a dark blue skirt with a white pinstripe at the hem, loose light blue long socks, and black sneakers with white laces. This is the rarest female model, only being used twice with one of them being an SOS Student.
Overview[]
During the events of the San Romero Zombie Apocalypse, several students managed to avoid inhaling the gases of the Rotten World, but were left to defend themselves from the various zombies/hordes that caught them. Though a handful can be saved, most of them die regardless of the players actions.
San Romero High School is the BEST![]
There are twenty students encountered in the Prologue, with three being SOS Students.
At the beginning of the level, there are four students consisting of two boys and two girls trapped in a wrecked and flaming bus which explodes after Juliet kicks the gate open, killing all four. The boys use the second and first male models, and the girls use the fourth and third female models.
After entering the parking lot, there are two students, a boy and a girl, standing next to a pair of corpses, seemingly mourning them. When Juliet approaches, the flaming car behind them explodes, killing both of them. The boy uses the third male model and the girl uses the third female model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #01; when approaching the mourning students, a boy will quickly poke out from behind a car near the mourning students before being pulled backwards just as quickly; further onwards, he is seen trying to climb over an SUV, but is pulled back down. When Juliet goes around the SUV, she will see the student laying in a pool of his own blood, being munched on by a zombie. After killing six zombies, the boy will express joy that he's alive and reward Juliet before climbing into a rescue basket and being lifted into a helicopter. He uses the first male model and is unique in that he cannot be killed since the zombies ignore him after the cutscene ends. At the end of the stage, after a zombie climbs into the helicopter and causes it to crash, the boy will become a zombie.
During the cutscene where Juliet backflips to avoid a bus, three boys run across the walkway above the parking lot. Two of the boys use the second male model while the third uses the first male model.
After killing the five crawling zombies, during the short cutscene that plays when the arrow appears on the hood of the minibus, a boy can be seen on the roof backing away from three zombies before falling off, with the zombies following. He uses the first male model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #02; immediately after Juliet jumps over the wrecked bus, she will see a girl sitting on the roof of a wrecked van. After killing twelve zombies, the girl will question her identity after jumping into the helicopter that picked up the first SOS Student. She uses the second female model and is unique in that she cannot be killed since the zombies can't reach her. At the end of the stage, after a zombie climbs into the helicopter and causes it to crash, the girl will become a zombie.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #03; immediately after Juliet jumps out of the wrecked bus, she will see a boy clinging to a flagpole. After killing eight zombies, the boy will let go and reward Juliet while telling her who his favorite president is before walking towards the gate. After killing seven zombies and kicking open the gate, a short cutscene will play. After the cutscene, the boy will begin walking towards the bus at the end of the lot. After killing twenty-five zombies, a QTE will occur, pushing the bus out of the way and allowing the boy and Juliet to leave the lot. If the boy is killed by zombies at any point from when he lets go of the flagpole to when Juliet walks around the bus, he will become a Strong Zombie. After killing eight zombies and going around the bus, the boy will climb into a rescue basket and be lifted into the helicopter that picked up the other two SOS Students. Before he can be lifted up, two zombies will grab onto the basket. The pilot will shake off one, but the other will climb into the helicopter and attack the pilot, causing the helicopter to crash. He uses the first recolor of the first male model. At the end of the stage, when Juliet gets to the crash site, the boy will become George, the first Named Zombie if not playing on hard difficulty.
After kicking open the gate to the front of the school, a short cutscene will play showing a police officer evacuating eight students consisting of four boys and four girls into the school to escape a horde of zombies. It's unknown what happens to them after they get into the school, but it can be presumed that a few of them are SOS Students found in the next stage. All of the boys use the first male model and all of the girls use the first female model.
After killing the horde, a QTE will occur where Juliet has to dodge an out of control van being driven by a boy panicking over a zombie clinging to the front. If the QTE succeeds, Juliet will jump out of the way and the van will crash into the bus and flip over and explode, killing both the boy and the zombie. If the QTE fails, Juliet will be hit by the van, resulting in an instant Game over. The boy uses the second male model.
What Happened at San Romero High?[]
There are sixteen students encountered in Stage 1, with eight being SOS Students.
During the short cutscene that plays after killing the first five zombies, a boy can be scene being dragged down the hallway by a zombie. After leaving the classroom, the student is seen being mauled by a zombie while two other students, a boy and a girl, are cowering in fear. All three are killed when an explosion causes the hallway to collapse. The boy being dragged uses the third male model and the girl uses the first female model. While the second boys model can't be discerned due to the shadows, he seems to be using either the first male model or a recolor of the first male model.
When rounding the corner after exiting Mr. Fitzgibbon's classroom, Juliet will see a group of students being attacked, with three, two boys and a girl, already dead. The students are, from left to right, a girl being pressed against the wall by a zombie holding her shoulders, a boy who gets thrown to the ground by a zombie, and a girl in the classroom frantically banging against the window, who gets tackled through the window by a zombie as soon as the cutscene ends. The girl against the wall uses the second female model and is unique in that she is the only unsaveable student who doesn't die during or after a cutscene; instead she falls limp as soon as the zombie holding her lets go. The boy and the first dead boy both use the third male model, with the living boy being unique is that he is the only cutscene student who disappears when the cutscene ends. The girl in the classroom and the dead girl both use the first female model, and the second dead boy uses the first male model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #04; down the hallway with the group of students, a boy attempts to fight off a horde of zombies but is quickly overwhelmed. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he will invite Juliet to hang out after school, apparently oblivious to the fact it's almost guaranteed the virus has spread beyond the school.
In the classroom right next to SOS Student #04, there is a girl laying on a table surrounded by three zombies who dies after the short cutscene ends. She uses the third female model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #05; in the classroom the window girl was in, a boy is cornered by two zombie and is about to be killed for failing a Math test, according to him. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he will compliment Juliet's breasts. He uses the second recolor of the first male model.
The next student enountered is SOS Student #06; immediately after the first headless zombie sequence, when going down the hallway past the Chop2Shop.zom, Juliet will spot a boy cornered against a blast door by three zombie. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he will scold Juliet for being late instead of thanking her.
After killing Ryu and sawing open the blast door, a boy will run out from behind the door and down the corridor before being tackled by a Bomber Zombie who explodes, killing both of them. The boy uses the second male model.
The next student enountered is SOS Student #07; after jumping over and off the out of control bus, Juliet will see a girl grasping onto the ledge of a window, while three zombies on the ground wait for her to fall. If the player does not kill all the zombies in time, the girl will be grabbed by a Bomber Zombie and will die in the following explosion. If saved, the girl will let go of the ledge and land with no serious injuries and complain that the zombies gave her a wedgie. She uses the first female model.
After climbing back up the wrecked bus an into the hallway, there are two boys who are trying to get a blast door open. When approached, the first boy will yell for Juliet to follow, while the second boy lifts the door open. The second boy then turns around and screams as the hallway behind Juliet begins exploding. When approaching the two, the first boy says he'll come back as the second drops the door in Juliet's face. After saving SOS Students #08, #09, and #10, and sawing the blast door open, the second boy will stumble out of a classroom, now with dynamite strapped to his body, and be hugged by a Fire Zombie who activates the dynamite, killing both of them, and the first boy is seen inside the classroom, now as SOS Student #11 (read below). The second boy uses the fourth male model.
The next students encountered are SOS Students #08, #09, and #10; after Juliet enters the classroom to her right after being stranded, she finds three students, a boy and two girls, cowering in the corner, having been strapped with dynamite. After a zombie couple blows up the wall, the three are exposed to a group of Fire Zombies. If any of the three students are grabbed by a Fire Zombie, the dynamite strapped to them will explode, killing all three. If saved, the boy says he'll post the video he took of Juliet killing the zombies to Youtube, the first girl will ask for her lipgloss, and the second girl will comment on Professor Campbell's attractiveness. The boy uses the second male model, the first girl uses the fourth female model, and the second girl uses the second female model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #11; (read above) after sawing through the blast door and witnessing the second boys death, Juliet will see the first boy backing away from a group of Bomber Zombies. If the boy is caught in a Bomber Zombie Explosion, he will be killed instantly. If saved, He'll tell Juliet he's gonna masturbate while thinking of her tonight, possibly (and hopefully) completely oblivious to how inappropriate that is to say to someone.
Thunder at San Romero High![]
There are four students encountered in Stage 3, with all of them being SOS Students.
The first student encountered is SOS Student #12; after entering the building and cutting through the collapsed pillar, Juliet will see a boy poke around a corner before being yanked backwards. When going around the corner, the boy is laying on the ground being threatened by three Zombie Firemen. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he will indirectly ask Juliet to be his girlfriend, apparently unaware that she's dating Nick.
The next students encountered are SOS Students #13, #14, and #15. After exiting the training room and going up the stairs, Juliet will see three students, two boys and a girl, cornered by a group Cheerleader Zombies (including Josephine if playing on Hard) who are singing about killing them. If any of the three students are killed by the zombies, they will become Strong Zombies. If saved, the first boy will say something about an easter egg (possibly referring to his voice actor), the girl will say she needs a tampon, and the second boy will say that girls from Kenya have large posteriors. The first boy uses the first recolor of the first male model, the girl uses the second female model, and the second boy uses the third recolor of the first male model.
Psychedelic Haze at O'Bannon Farm[]
There is one student encountered in Stage 4, who is also the stages only SOS Student.
The first/only student encountered is SOS Student #16; after killing the three zombies on the tractor after the first combine harvester sequence, Juliet will see a boy tied to a cross surrounded by four zombies with a murder of zombie crows flying around his head. If the boy is pecked to death by the crows, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he'll tell Juliet not to worry about the the smell since he defecated himself. He uses the first male model.
Arcade Action at the Fulci Fun Center[]
There are three students encountered in Stage 4, with all of them being SOS Students.
The first student encountered is SOS Student #17; after Juliet kills the three Geek Zombies playing arcade games, a boy will run out of the elevator being chased by a female Geek Zombie (Anastasia if playing on Hard) and two Punk Zombies before being cut off by a male Geek Zombie and two more Punk Zombies. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie. If saved, he'll say a nonsensical phrase Juliet sticking something up her butt. He uses the second recolor of the first male model.
The next students encountered are SOS Students #18 and #19; after using the headless Cheerleader Zombie to jump up to the walkway, Juliet will see two students, a boy and a girl being threatened by Geek Zombies, with the boy standing on a lip with a male Geek Zombie watching him, and the girl hanging off the railing with a female Geek Zombie waiting for her. If the Female Geek is not killed in time, the girl will fall to her death. If saved, the girl will climb back onto the walkway and tell Juliet she'll send her a friend request, while the boy insults people who listen to death metal. The boy uses the second male model and is unique in that he cannot be killed since the zombie can't reach him, while the girl uses the third female model.
Evil at the Unfinished Cathedral[]
There are two students encountered in Stage 5, with both of them being SOS Students.
The first student encountered is SOS Student #20; after shooting down the zombie piloted helicopter and sawing the car in half, Juliet will see a boy trapped in a fenced area with a large number of zombies, including a Zombie Police Officer, a male Fat Old Zombie, and a Bomber Zombie, who don't seem to have noticed him, since he's in a corner and all the zombies are facing Juliet. After sawing open the door, the boy will begin walking out of the area and towards a truck blocking the road. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie and if he is caught in a Bomber Zombie explosion, he will die instantly. If saved, he will climb on top of the truck and say what he thinks the zombies wanted to do to him. He uses the first male model.
The next student encountered is SOS Student #21; immediately after sealing the pit full of Bomber zombies, Juliet will find a boy in the corner of a room full of red barrels. After the phone call with Rosalind Starling ends, the boy will begin walking towards the exit of the room which is on fire. If the boy is killed by the zombies, he will become a Strong Zombie and if he is caught in the explosion of a bomber zombie or a red barrel, he will die instantly. After Juliet blows up the blue barrel to extinguish the fire, the boy will walk over to the elevator shaft. Once there, he will compliment Juliet's breasts and slide down the pole. He uses the third recolor of the first male model and is unique in that he is the only SOS Student who recycles a quote, his being the same as SOS Student #05, as well as that he is the only SOS Student who doesn't fade away, though he'll despawn after the cutscene ends.
WTF?![]
Stage 6 is the only stage that has no students.
As an Enemy[]
Transformed Classmate
A Transformed Classmate is an SOS Student who was killed by zombies and became a strong zombie as a result. They are furious with Juliet for not saving them and will attack her violently. When transformed their body turns red and blood stains appear around their body. A life bar will then appear above their head.
